INK Salon for Water (and Sewage) in Whitefield

INKtalks hosted a water salon at Jagriti Theatre. A diverse group of experts and practioners presented solutions for handling water and sewage locally in Whitefield.

Rajesh presented on the sewage crisis, linking it's contamination of lakes and groundwater to its impact on the environment and health (even for the rich). By creating a peer network which both collaborates and creates peer pressure, apartments and residential communities can tackle their sewage and ensure that their neighbours are also tackling their sewage - the only way to handle a growing crisis where the government is years behind.
