The School has a fine well that is not drying out during the dry season but cannot be used because the pump head has been stolen. Since neither money nor knowledge are available to repair this pump and only one other well is located in the community (drie
One hand pump repair tool kit will ensure that this and further repairs are possible.
One Indian Mark II hand pump kit will be used to replace the stolen one
Community will fence the working well.
Done in one phase
Community forms a committee consisting of representative of all groups (school, women, youth, community leaders, …) to supervise the usage of the pump. The well is located at the school that is the main proprietor.
